Abstract:
This article examines the role of Germany in the process of integration of the European Union, as well as
the continuity of the European integration process and strengthening the power of a united Germany within the European Union. In addition, an analysis of policies of Germany from the inception of the Common Market until the formation of the European Union, as well as exploring contemporary trends in German government policy towards the EU.
