For a long time LiF crystals have been used as optical windows for heUVandVUVspectral region and today LiF is a standard personal thermo-luminescence dosimeter for g-rays, electrons, and thermal neutrons. Therefore electron–hole and exciton processes responsible for storage of the absorbed radiation energy have been studied [1].
