Abstract:
Actual issues of employment of University graduates are considered in the article. The authors reveal the content of contradictions between employers and job seekers on the basis of empirical data analysis. To disclose the content of the article, the authors analyze the requirements put forward by employers to graduates of state policy of youth employment assistance. It is revealed that the pedagogical and material and technical resources do not correspond to the needs of the modern economy. The article highlights the activities carried out by higher education institutions and graduate departments of higher education institutions, such as meetings with employers, presentations of graduates, fairs of specialists, meetings of graduates of previous years with students of relevant specialties, the creation of a database of graduates in order to communicate with graduates, monitor their careers, familiarization of graduates with vacancies.
Summing up, researchers come to the conclusion that it is necessary to systematically study the labor market by universities, take into account the needs of employers and create job search skills among university graduates.
