A STRONG CONVERGENCE THEOREM FOR TWO ASYMPTOTICALLY NONEXPANSIVE MAPPINGS IN A STRICTLY CONVEX BANACH SPACE

Abstract

An iterative scheme containing two asymptotically nonexpansive mappings has been used in this paper to approximate common xed points in a strictly convex Banach space. This improves and extends some known recent results to the case of two mappings.
