Abstract:
The author in his article demonstrates that from the Ages of Bronze and Iron till the century of Turkic and Uyghur Khanates, the early Turks used a sign “ ” and it is proved by a rich materials found in the territory of Eurasian Continent. In the article the cultural and spiritual values of archeological evidences are confirmed and comparative analysis from ethno-linguistic and ethno-psychological point of view are made.
As a result, the author comes to conclusion that early Turks having a letter “s” meant
(s1), (s2), at the same time they continued using the sign “ ”, as an expression of sounds -as /-sa, -ys /-sy.
