dc.description.abstract The article deals with the philosophical and theoretical approaches of the Russian liberals to address the problem of the relationship between state and society to discover the source, the base value of legal and ethical standards in their philosophical and theoretical concepts, traces the evolution of their views. Armed with a legal and philosophical method to study social phenomena, the Liberals sought to emphasize its independent status in society to determine the social mechanisms and foundations of human freedom. To those mechanisms are primarily attributed power and right. Study on the relationship between man and society was carried on systematically reasoned philosophical and theoretical basis. en_US
