Abstract:
We studied the phytochemistry of the aerial part of Artemisia austriaca Jacq. collected in Akmolin Oblast in July 2013. Several sesquiterpene lactones (austricin, hydroxyachillin, anhydroaustricin, arborescin, santonin, artemin, etc.) and flavonoids (rutin, quercetin, dihydroquercetin, hesperidin, luteolin-7-glycoside, etc.) were isolated previously from this Artemisia species and the constituent composition of the essential oil was studied.
