Abstract:
There are fewer countries which have only one language spoken within its territory in the
modern world than we could suppose. This is rather the result of various historic reasons than of
modern globalization. Some languages developed from one source in the process of expansion and
dissemination of its people, as for example happened with the Slavic languages.
